SSCS Gift

Finally opened my SSCS gift and look at this beautiful stitchery wallhanging that Tracee of  Quilt Kitty Loves Life blog made for me.  Beside it is the owl scissor/needle holder Tracee also made.   My daughter placed in the scissors and scissor pal she bought for me for Christmas.  Tracee let me know that the postie will not allow those to be sent in the mail.  Thanks for much for the time and effort put into my beautiful gifts.  I will treasure them.

  2. Hi Lori, so glad you like what I sent. From sneaking a look at your blog I saw we have similar tastes when it came to fabric choices for the SALs & an obvious love of stitchery. So I figured if I loved it you would too. The wall hanging is from Natalie Bird's book From The Heart. She is a favourite of mine so I loved doing Tis The Season SAL too. The owl was a free pattern designed by a gorgeous Aussie blogger called Melody from The House on the Side of the Hill. What a thoughtful present from you daughter, nice when they indulge our quilty passions. Happy New Year! Tracee xx
